resistência do vidro

Safety should always be an essential item when choosing the type of glass for your construction project or environment. Due to its versatility, glass is in a constant process of evolution, becoming increasingly resistant and safe and thus can be applied not only in decorative elements, but also in structural ones. And to know which type best fits your project, we separate 4 types for you to know:

-Laminate : Composed of two or more panes of glass and interspersed with a super resistant film (PVB and EVA) prevents the glass from spreading in the event of an accident, keeping it upright and the area closed, so they are ideal for balconies, stairs, guardrails and covers. In addition, they are excellent sound and heat insulators.

-Tempered : To become more rigid and safer, this type of glass comes into contact with high temperatures and then cooled, leaving it up to 5x times more resistant than common glass. Remembering that the measurements for cuts and holes must be made before the tempering process.

- Tempered Laminate : It is the junction of the main characteristics of laminate and tempered, that is, the lamination of plates (two or more) of tempered glass, which went through the thermal shock process, transforming this type of glass, extremely resistant to falls. , blows and even high pressures, and can be used even in swimming pools and aquariums.
